The philosophy of jawahar lal Nehru School reflects the understanding that education is a continuous process. The whole program is organized to meet the individual, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical needs of children by taking into account the different rates at which children develop. Experiences are provided within this process to allow each child to develop intellectually, morally, emotionally and physically at a comfortable, yet challenging pace. Students are encouraged to be active participants with their teachers and parents in setting goals for their educational future.
In order that a student may function in society as a productive citizen, we feel that education should provide pupils opportunities to be curious and creative, to exercise initiative, to accept and fulfil responsibilities, to test ideas, to establish informed opinions about controversial matters, and to develop aesthetic values.
